HOW WE WORK AND WHAT WE DO

Frequently asked questions

What days are you available?
Staging can be completed Monday to Friday.

What are your payment terms?
We ask for a $250.00 deposit to secure a date.

Full payment is required 2 working days prior to the day of staging.

How much notice do you need for a booking?
A minimum of 5 days is required to view property, confirm a booking and organise a time for staging and then the final install.

What services are provided?
Property Props will provide all the furniture, furnishings, linen, accessories & art for your property.

This will be delivered and set up in order to best showcase the property, ready for your professional photography.

At the termination of the agreement, all of the items will be removed prior to settlement date. Please provide a minimum of 7 days notice for collection prior to settlement date or after the period of rental and the clearing of the property if needed for any reason.

How long is the staging for?
The standard hire period is for 6 weeks. If the property sells within this 6 week period, early removal of the furniture
can be arranged. However full payment is still required. This is to cover both the delivery & set up costs,  and the de-staging & removal costs.

If the property has not sold within the 6 week period, an extension fee may be negotiated, unless the items have already been booked for another property. This will be done on a week by week basis, with a minimum of 7 days notice of the final termination of the contract/removal date for furniture.

Initial enquiries, and bookings
I'm always happy to chat on the phone about a rough ballpark figure or tentative dates, however all bookings and date requests will need to be confirmed by email for them to be locked in.

Quoting
While we have included basic costs, please note all final quotes must be requested via email from Property Props prior to any booking being confirmed. Once we receive details of the properties size and location etc we aim to confirm a quote and available dates.

Postponements
Understandably these can happen due to delays in renovations etc but it does make life very tricky for us to reschedule when we are fully booked for 2-3 weeks ahead. We will always try our best to juggle our schedule but please ensure dates are realistic when you make your booking to avoid disappointment. We recommend, in the case of a renovation job, that you allow at least an extra few days for those unforeseen issues.

Staging Day
We offer staging set ups to be completed on Mondays - Friday.

Access will be arranged with with vendor or Real Estate Agent.

We ask that full staging properties be clean and clear before we commence.

Hireage period and extensions.
Your official paid hirage period is 6 x weeks. Extensions of hirage can be arranged past the 6 x week mark at our discretion and depending on whether furniture is required for another booking. We may be able to offer an extension so please contact us directly to discuss this and the rate for weekly extentions.

Booking your photographer
On the day of staging we ask that you not to book photos until 3pm at earliest in case we run into any issues due to traffic, transport,  weather etc.

Clearing Stagings
Once a sale has been achieved, we appreciate being notified as soon as the property goes unconditional so that we can arrange clearing of staging prior to settlement. A minimum of 7 x days notice is required so that we can work it into our often super busy schedule.
